HOUSE

230m²

LANDSCAPED SPACES

2500m²

In the old mill, in Kea, we built a unique house 230m², inspired by the traditional island architecture, using materials and techniques of the island and combining them with excellent bioclimatic and comfortable design. This house is developed on multiple levels, fully following the structure of the ground, and being an integral part of it.

The interior design is in the standards of traditional design, until the beginnings of the 19th century in the Cyclades, remaining uncoated on the load-bearing stone walls. Complementary materials are pressed cement mortars and wood. The furniture of the spaces has been done again in the same reasoning, with collections of unique pieces from all over Greece. The exterior configurations of the house, covering an area of 2,500m², have been designed to provide comfort with all the winds that may blow in the area, creating a pleasant environment for the whole day.
